Karla T. Vasquez is a food writer, cooking instructor, recipe developer, speaker and a food justice advocate who specializes in documenting Central American food history. She’s also the founder of SalviSoul, a Salvadoran cookbook storytelling project focused on recipe documentation, cultural memory and intergenerational healing for the Salvadoran diaspora.
