In this episode we talk with La SalvadoReina, a Salvi creative. She tells us about her father’s work helping people back in El Salvador through music, her challenges with producing music and her creative outlets of singing, songwriting, and fashion design.
Cindy also known as La SalvadoReina is Washington DC born Salvadoran. She’s a singer, music writer, fashion designer, and all-around creative. Her music mixes cumbia with hip hop for a touch of old and new. She hopes to create the representation she desired to see as a little girl and to see Salvis embrace our community-based culture.
