The matriarchs in our lives pass on more than recipes. They inspire us, teach us strength, grit and ensure our heritage survives through generations. Herencia Cookbook is a Salvi-Mex cookbook written by Benadettte Molina to honor the matriarchs in her family and to pass down our food heritage to future generations.
Bernadette Molina aka Bernie is half Salvadorian-American, half Mexican-American and 100% Latina. She is the author of Herencia Cookbook, a nostalgic and humorous homage to honor our matriarchal ancestors and culture with a little bit of LA lingo tossed in. Bernie is 30 years old, married, lives in Los Angeles and is 9 months pregnant with her first child.
